Originally from St. Tammany, Lauren began her pursuit of justice during high school by working for the District Attorney’s Office. In 2003, she moved to Baton Rouge and continued working in the legal field throughout college at Louisiana State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She then earned her Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma in Civil Law from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law School in 2011.
Lauren has worked for both the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office and the Attorney General’s office as a trial attorney since graduating law school and has fought vigorously for just outcomes in every case. Throughout her experience, she saw a need for proper defense strategies and mitigation to ensure the best results for defendants.
Lauren has taught numerous CLE courses on professionalism, ethics, and impaired driving, demonstrating her mastery of complex criminal case navigation. She is a dedicated advocate for clients going through the difficult process of navigating the criminal justice system.
Outside the office, Lauren’s passions extend beyond the courtroom. She enjoys live music, traveling, and quality time with Penny, her loyal dog. Always up for a new adventure, Lauren’s also discovered a love for cooking and trying new recipes.
